All types of people join SolterosElegantes. Typically, our members are active, professional people, but do not have the time to meet interesting people outside work. No, our members are not people who can not find friends or initiate new relationships on their own. Instead, they are fun, outgoing, intelligent and diverse professional people who want to enhace the quality of their lives. Everyone of them has friends that are married or maybe just too boring to do the things they want to do. Many are also new to the area and may not have made new connections yet. No, they are smart and see the many advantages SolterosElegantes has to offer them!

Of course! Some fall in love and become a couple. Some become friends for a lifetime. Some get together for two and three person bike trips, kayaking adventures or just to share a movie. And yes, members date one another and marry! It just make sense – put fun and interesting people together – and it is a natural occurrence. It´s actually more prone to happen because there is no pressure, it´s not forced – it just happens! We just don´t focus on it. After all, if it´s forced, how good could it be?

The average age is between the ages of 30 to 45, that is another great benefit of SolterosElegantes. You will meet members of all ages, equally distributed through the membership. Of course, you have to be 21 years of age to join. Typically, if you are between the ages of 30 through 45 you will meet plenty of members in your age group. There are members as young as 21 and as mature as 49 who have a great time in the club! Because there is such a great variety of events, singles of all ages are attracted to SolterosElegantes

Because of the nature of the organization, singles of both genders want to get out and have a great time meeting new people of both genders! Thus, the gender ratio remains pretty even. Although we have no control over the number of each gender that joins, we keep closely an eye on the events to make sure that any single event is not overpopulated with one gender. Although a certain event may attract one gender more than another. Overall, the club is pretty equally represented by both genders in all age groups

The events are paid by the member at the event itself. Whenever possible, we will negotiate discounted rates or take advantage of group rates for the members.

There is no minimum or maximum number of events a member must attend. Of course, the more events you attend, the better! This is especially true if you attend a wide variety of activities. Although it may not be possible, we´d love to see you at all the events!

The number of events planned each month depends on the number of members in the club. Keeping in mind that we expect all active members to participate in a variety of at least 1 event per month. As SolterosElegantes grows, so will the number of events. The events for the following 2 months are typically available around the beginning of the every month. Adjustments / additions, including spontaneous events, can take place anytime

Events are scheduled during the week and on the weekend. Events scheduled during the week will almost always take place after typical work. Events scheduled on weekends or holidays can be scheduled anytime

The number of members at each event can vary. However, there is a minimum of 20 members necessary to make any particular event take place. There are limits to the number of members who can attend a good number of events to ensure the quality of the events. We like to make sure that the event is not overcrowded and that everyone can feel comfortable.

This is a great way for you to meet new people without a lot of pressure. Every Event is hosted by our SolterosElegantes team. They specialize in introducing everyone and making them feel like home. So whether you´re a little shy, a little “out of practice” at being single or the most outgoing person in the world – we make sure everyone is comfortable and has a great time – you´ll feel right at home immediatly. Our monthly “New Members Presentation” helps everyone get to know the new members to break the ice and make new friends in no time!
